I stumbled onto Zentangle at the suggestion of an old friend… Thanks Bob… It has opened many doors from art to stress control / relief. In fact, the family and I spent Christmas Eve learning the technique and putting those searching lines onto a bigger canvas that will eventually grace Larry’s office.
Agnes combines recent portrait interest with the zentangle flair. Too much maybe, but fun.
If you read Sookie Stackhouse, you know this is Bubba. One day, hopefully soon, I will be able to do Elvis:)… The you tube vids are worth waiting through the ads:) Very nice footage of Christmas Past at Graceland.

Acrylic on canvas. A vibrant interpretation of an “Austin Boxer Rescue” success story – Pippe (aka Pistashio). The footprints, rabies tags, and favorite treat prints belong to her and her foster siblings.
I had a very difficult time finding an anime character that I wanted to put forward. Maybe the task wasn’t difficult because those characters aren’t out there… I just have so little knowledge of Anime itself. So… I have enlisted the help of my nephew Mark Nash who has been stationed in Japan and is much more versed in the art form than most. I look forward to the journey. Thanks Mark
